The input section focuses on solving activities and analysis of Czech legislative instruments. The main part describes the important functions of the buffer strips, which are based on foreign studies. The proposal of using the buffer strips in our conditions were made on the base of obtained information at the end of this work.
Aleje a jejich role v zemědělské krajině - stav a perspektivy
Kučerová, Laura
The thesis deals with the issue of tree-lined alleys and rows of trees in agricultural landscapes, which were described in detail in the theoretical section. In the application part, a summary map of 210 potential alleys and 631 potential rows of trees was created in the terri-tory of the Olomouc District outside the built-up area of the city of Olomouc and the Libavá military training area, supplemented by a database of 10 alleys in the Olomouc region and a green passport of the city of Olomouc. The data from the map were evaluated based on the location of the elements in individual municipalities in terms of density, length, and number of elements. Field research was carried out in two locations. In the village of Drahanovice was mapped out total of 11vegetation elements and in the town of Velká Bystřice was mapped out total of 41 vegetation elements. Mapping was subsequently evaluated. New elements were proposed in these areas based on the current and historical landscape structure, focusing on soil blocks with an area of more than 30 ha and more than 10 ha in areas with strongly eroded soils.
Temporal changes in bird communities at the landscape level in Třeboň basin
Havelka, Jan ; Sedláček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Reif, Jiří (referee)
Population trends of birds are usually studied mainly on large national and continental scales or, on the contrary, quite locally. In an attempt to link these spatial scales, we repeated a quantitative survey of bird communities in the Třeboň Protected Area twenty years later (between 2001 and 2021). Bird counts were conducted during the breeding season on a fifty- kilometre transect (128 count points) intersecting a diverse range of habitats. We found declines in long-distance migrants and insectivorous birds compared to more stable or slightly increasing populations of resident species. Consistent with known trends, we also observed declines in populations of species tied to agricultural landscapes. Deviations from the well described trends by JPSP and PECBMS relate more to individual species characteristics. For example, we observed increases in populations of otherwise declining House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) and Field Sparrow (Passer montanus), or nationally stable Eurasian Siskin (Spinus spinus). Using detailed mapping of habitat and vegetation changes and other ecological characteristics of individual species, we have attempted to explain these general and site-specific changes in bird abundance and population trends. We were also interested in the manifestations of the generally...

Chemical and physical parameters of surface waters of streams in the Novohradsko area.
BERNASOVÁ, Tereza
The content of the bachelor thesis was the comparasion of chemical-physical parameters of surface waters in Novohradsko. The data, which were used in the thesis, were taken in 2014. Individual sampling points were differed in their management practices and types of ecosystem. The monitored parameters are associated with eutrophication: conductivity, pH, KNK4,5, nitrates and phosphates. Based on the results we can claim that the sampling points of agroecosystems reached higher values of the selected parameters. The biggest differences were detected in conductivity. The values of conductivity were oscitalled from 51,8 mS cm-1 to 164,4 mS cm-1.
The agricultural management impact on matter losses in the model catchment of the Stropnice river
SLAVÍKOVÁ, Lucie
The content of this thesis The agricultural management impact on matter losses in the model catchment of the Stropnice river was to observe the quality of surface water and matter losses in five small catchments of Stropnice river. The samples from physico-chemical analysis were medium values from 2001 to 2011. There were observed pH, conductivity and concentrations of main ions and carbon in the surface waters. The results were analysed with multivariate Measures Anova - Tukey HSD post- hoc analyse. For the selected parameters a correlation analysis of the closeness of relationships was performed. There were differences between in sulphates surface water chemism in the upper parts of five streams. In the lower parts of five streams were significant differences between arable soils and meadows. The results confirmed that occurs a positive relation between the chemism of surface water and land use.
The issue of protection and management of freshwater resources in the agricultural landscape
KUČEROVÁ, Monika
My bachelor's thesis Is concerning problems connected to drinking water. It is concentrating on it's occurence, quality, legislation and obligation of operators in occurrence areas of drinking water. Further it is highlighting problem of contamination and usage of drinking water in agriculture. The evaluation was conducted at five farms and were compared analyzes of drinking water and various indicators of drinking water for various periods of time.
Different type of biomass parcels after the harvest as a microbiotope for invertebrates
MACHOVEC, Jiří
Epigeic beetle communities were studied on four types of biomass bales in the cadastral unit Vrbice u Žitné, district Prachatice. Involved were bales a of grass silage stored on the edge of permanent grassland, on hay bales individually placed on permanent grassland , followed by straw bales scattered in the fields of arable land and straw bales stored on the edge of arable land. The first three types of bales were in position only few months (2-3), while straw bales at the fourth position had been more than one year. The sampling method was selected a sieving of detritus. In the bales of hay were found 9 species of 5 families. In hay bales were found 7 species of 4 families. In the straw bales (which spent in position less time - 3 months), were found 10 species of 6 families. In the bales which were in position 13 months, were found 14 species of 4 families. Index of anthropogenic influence on communities demonstrated that the positions are strongly influenced.
The influence of KPÚ on the degree of implementation of the territorial system of ecological stability in selected cadastral territory in South Bohemian Region in the field with the prevailing management of private farmers
ŠIMÁKOVÁ, Iveta
The purpose of this paper is to assess the impact of comprehensive landscaping on the implementation of the territorial system of ecological stability in selected cadastral territory. Interest to assess the default location, designed and implemented by the state has been selected the cadastral Košín. Part of this work was to evaluate these changes using maps. Another activity was to carry out eco bio zoning of the area where the so called eco crisis zone were defined, giving rise to a situation in eco crisis landscape.
Czech Terra - adaptace uhlíkových deponií v krajině v kontextu globální změny
Mandelova zemědělská a lesnická universita v Brně, Brno ; Ústav systémové biologie a ekologie AV ČR ; Marek, Michal V.
CzechTerra představuje integrační projekt řešící problematiku adaptace krajinných celků ČR – ekosystémů - na probíhající globální změnu klimatu s využitím metodických přístupů umožňujících pochopit, predikovat a oceňovat probíhající změny v regionálním měřítku i v kontextu Rámcové úmluvy a Kjótského protokolu.
